Cuatro Rayas decided to give Verdejo a brother and launched a sauvignon blanc wine on the market. It turned out to be a great bet from the winery that, shortly after its release on the market, obtained the first of its rewards, being recognized with the Great Gold Zarcillo.
The redesign of the image of the Cuatro Rayas range ‘Vendimia Nocturna’ —which essentially refers to the Verdejo and Sauvignon varietals with D.O. Rueda, although it has also included in the aesthetic line the Tinto Roble of manual harvest of the D.O. Ribera del Duero – is based on the peculiarities of the viticulture in Rueda, where, for years, a mechanized night harvest has been practiced with the aim that the low night temperatures avoid the oxidation of the must and uncontrolled fermentations; This harvest allows the optimal balance of sugar and acidity.
