The first organic wine of the Cuatro Rayas family
Coming from their own hawks of organic production.
We take care of the environment. All treatments carried out in the field are 100% natural, so we eliminate any contamination from the environment.
All our organic wines are made going back to the traditional way of cultivation, that is, without herbicides, pesticides, or insecticides; a fully natural crop. Regarding the production method, it follows the same steps as the Cuatro Rayas brand wines, but the fermentation is carried out with native yeasts, in our case, our own yeasts. In addition, clarification can only be done with natural products, bottling and labeling with recyclable materials, and minimizing the use of SO2 (sulphites, whose purpose is to prevent the oxidation of the wine). We do not use any chemical treatment in the entire manufacturing and bottling process.
Organic and vegan certification
CAECyL, the Council of Ecological Agriculture of Castilla y León, is the public control authority that guarantees with the seals that are included in the labels of these wines that Bodega Cuatro Rayas complies with the requirements and demands of organic production. It also certifies the EU Organic Agriculture seal.
Cuatro Rayas has included in its organic verdejo, tempranillo and rosé, in addition to other non-organic Verdejo references such as Cuatro Rayas Viñedos Centenarios and Cuatro Rayas Cuarenta Vendimias, the seal of the European Vegetarian Union that certifies that in winery practices all Products used are considered vegan.
