‘Amador Diez’ is a ten wine inspired by an outstanding man.
Bodega Cuatro Rayas has just released a new great wine that is destined to carve out a place among the most prestigious whites in Spain. As great as the man on his label: Amador Diez De Íscar, the one who was president of the winery for 21 years. ‘Amador Diez’, the brand that appears on the unique label made with wood, comes from grapes from the oldest vineyards of Cuatro Rayas, specifically from a selection made in part of the best 10 prefiloxeric hectares with more than 100 years located in Aldeanueva del Codonal (Segovia). It is the most handmade and exclusive product of the Rueda Designation of Origin and therefore from the winery founded in 1935.
Harvested by hand and carefully selected, the bottle is now a reality after passing a period of fermentation in new 500-liter French oak barrels, with bâtonnage for eight months. It is worth highlighting its elaboration with native yeasts typical of the winery, something unique and apart from the most commercial elaborations and known by the consumers of Rueda wines.
