The unruly Verdejo from Bodega Cuatro Rayas
Fulfilling the maxim that there are no two without three, Bodega Cuatro Rayas repeats its success with an unconventional elaboration with Verdejo grapes. ’61’ Frizzante 5.5 Verdejo, the unruly Verdejo that completes the ’61 Sesenta y Uno ‘range with its prestigious’ 61′ Dorado and the surprising ’61’ Vermouth Verdejo. The largest winery in the DO Rueda thus joins the elaborations of partially fermented must.
Made naturally with selected grapes of the Verdejo variety by cold fermentation stop at 5.5ºC. This young frizzante goes by the name ’61’, the first wine brand that Bodega Cuatro Rayas bottled in the 1950s.
