La Seca, January 27, 2021.- The North American magazine specialized in the wine sector Wine Spectator publishes in its latest issue an article entitled ‘Present Perfect’ in which it makes a selection of around 600 elaborations of different styles and from 12 countries that stand out for their exceptional quality. All the wines included in this informative content have at least 90 points according to the expert tasters of the publication and, in addition, they are affordable for all budgets, since none exceed 25 dollars.
The cooperative Verdejo from Bodega Cuatro Rayas has been included in this selection, ratifying the excellent value for money of the most emblematic white of this winery of the DO Rueda, which vintage after vintage conquers palates on both sides of the ocean, being a regular in the list of competitions such as Berliner Wine Trophy (Gold Medal to the 2019 vintage) o Mundus Vini (Silver Medal to the vintage 2019) and having appearances in specialized international prescribing media such as her own Wine Spectator (which in addition to the aforementioned 90 points has qualified the 2019 vintage of this wine as ‘Best Value’) or Wine Enthusiast (which selects as ‘Best Buy’ to Four Stripes Night Vintage Verdejo 2019).
Made from a delicate selection of Verdejo variety grapes from different farms and estates of the Rueda DO and with mechanical night harvest, this fresh and varietal white has a certification of fitness for vegan consumption and is an excellent pairing for fish, shellfish , pasta, rice, cheeses and white meats.

Wine Spectator has also recently published an article selecting the 100 best wine references from around the world tasted in 2020 with a price below $ 25. Four Stripes Night Vintage Verdejo 2019 has been included in the light wines section of this ‘100 Top Value’, being also the only DO Rueda to become part of this list selected at the discretion of the magazine’s experts.
The tasters have valued with 90 points and the consideration of ‘Best Value’ to the Verdejo of reference of the cooperative winery Valladolid and his stand out its expressiveness: “The floral and saline aromas are seductive in this lively and elegant white. With notes of pear, herbaceous and powdery, illuminated by the acidity of citrus”.
