August 2019, La Seca (Valladolid). – From July 31 to August 3, the fourteenth edition of the first international wine fair aimed at the final consumer and created by Mario Puchulu Giaca . This fair seeks to be a space for the promotion of knowledge of wine.
During the celebration of this last edition, the international wine competition took place, which consists of 12 rounds of blind tastings over three days, with an expert and international jury from more than 15 countries. In this event, they endorsed the quality of the Verdejos from Bodega Cuatro Rayas praising Seahorse 2018 with the award: Silver Medal, in the category of Young White Wines for every day , in which it competed with the wines of Argentina, Chile, Spain, France, USA, Italy.
This award is undoubtedly a great step towards the consolidation of Bodega Cuatro Rayas wines in the Colombian market. Seahorse It is a white wine of the Verdejo variety that comes from night-harvest vineyards, greenish yellow with steely reflections, on the nose it is aromatic, fruity and smooth. On the palate it is fruity, complex and with a great structure.
