May 2019, La Seca (Valladolid) .- ‘Wine Enthusiast Magazine’ , American magazine of international reference in the world of wine, has awarded a score of 90 points out of one hundred to a wine from Bodega Cuatro Rayas. Specifically to one of the most emblematic wines of the Valladolid cooperative: Four Stripes ‘Night Vintage’ (vintage 2018). The note, which will be published in the August issue, is added to that of also 90 granted last November to Verdejo Cuvée Amador Ten 2015.
Four Stripes ‘Night Vintage’ , which has also been classified as Best Buy (recommended wine for purchase due to its quality price), is made with Verdejo grapes from selected farms; with mechanized night harvest. It is a powerful wine with notes of white fruit and citrus on the nose, fresh and balanced, with character and a delicate fennel finish on the palate. Cuatro Rayas is the name of a historic payment where four municipalities converge and where the older ones said in the middle of the last century that the best grapes were produced to make Verdejo: La Seca, Rodilana, Medina del Campo and Rueda.
