Cuatro Rayas welcomes spring with wine and cheese, … that taste like a kiss

The cooperative winery will be held on March 23 and 24

Spring alters the blood and it is that at Bodega Cuatro Rayas we take care of starting this season by organizing a very special visit together with another associate of the Rueda Wine Route: Quesos Muñiz, who will be in charge of pairing the Cuatro Rayas wines with its artisan elaborations.

After a visit exploring the corners and discovering all the secrets of the winery founded in 1935, there will be a paired tasting of three wines; each of them will be accompanied by a product from the maker of Mojados: Cuatro Rayas Cuarenta Vendimias Verdejo, with Verdejo cheese cream; Cuatro Rayas Cuarenta Vendimias Sauvignon, with nine-month cured cheese and Cuatro Rayas Cuarenta Vendimias Ribera del Duero 2016 paired with fifteen-month aged cheese.

Craftsmen since 1946
Located in the town of Mojados and active since 1946, they make sheep cheeses in an artisanal way, preserving the good flavor of a great cheese. Four Stripes Forty Vintage , is a collection of various wines, all of them made with a careful selection of grapes from vineyards over 40 years old and which emerged in 2015 as a tribute to the man who for four decades has pampered each production of Cuatro Rayas.
